Love Story
The foundations of Tracy Williamson Designs date back to 2010 when Alan and I embarked on our very own wedding journey. After Alan’s romantic proposal by the stunning Lake Ullswater in the Lake District we found ourselves diving headfirst into wedding planning. But like many couples, we had no idea where to begin. Choosing suppliers felt overwhelming and we were navigating unknown territory on one of the most important days of our lives.
At that time, both of us were juggling demanding careers, so finding time to plan was no easy task. It wasn’t long before we realised just how intricate the process was – finding suppliers, negotiating deals, finalising details … the list felt endless! But we persevered, and that unforgettable experience is what ignited the inspiration for Tracy Williamson Designs.
As we were planning our own wedding, we quickly realised how challenging it was to find the right suppliers – those who could offer a comprehensive range of high quality decor at reasonable rates, and, more importantly, be honest and transparent about what we truly needed. With so many companies competing for our business, it became clear that couples like ourselves could benefit from guidance in navigating their wedding styling journey … and that’s how the foundations of Tracy Williamson Designs were created.
Since our wedding in 2011, the wedding industry has evolved into a multi-million-pound industry, offering countless choices for couples. From small and intimate celebrations to large and lavish affairs, we’ve styled hundreds of weddings across a wide range of styles, venues and budgets. With each passing year, we’ve gained a deeper understanding of the challenges couples face and how daunting the planning process can be.
