HOW WE WORK...
at Tracy Williamson Designs.
Step One
INITIAL ENQUIRY
Maybe your partner has popped the question and you are now wondering what to do next. For some, organising an event is easy but for many others the planning and co-ordination involved can leave you feeling rather overwhelmed as well as excited. This is why we’ve decided to put you at ease and detail the steps involved if you are considering hiring us to style your wedding.
Getting in touch with us is easy, you can contact us via the links below, phone or via our social media channels. Once we have received your initial enquiry we will reply to any questions which you have as well as confirm our availability for your date. We will also invite you to a complimentary design consultation with our expert design and styling team.
Step Two
CONSULTATION*
Our consultation service provides the opportunity for you to meet us in person and it also allows us to learn more about you.
We will explore how you envisage that your wedding or will look like and feel, the styles you love and those you dislike, what your priorities are and also alleviate any concerns that you may have surrounding themes, colour schemes, logistics and timescales etc. Although it may seem like we ask you a lot of questions, we will also listen, as although we have planned 100’s of weddings and events in the past, we’ve not planned yours and it’s important that we get everything just right for you.
Setting the tone and style of your day is a crucial aspect of our design process so gaining an understanding of your vision is important to us. It is helpful if you could bring along your Pinterest board, any magazine cuttings, screenshots and fabric swatches etc that you have gathered as they the essential ingredients which help us visualise what you are hoping to achieve and form the foundations of our bespoke, tailor made service.
*Consultations usually last between 45-60 minutes and take place at your venue at a mutually convenient time and date. If you are interested in hiring a few items then we strongly recommend booking a consultation where we can explore your ideas further and provide guidance and inspiration, alternatively if you know exactly what you require then we can proceed straight to the booking process.
Step Three
STYLING PROPOSAL
Following our consultation we’ll have a much clearer idea of how we can assist you with the planning and styling of your wedding or event. We will then put together a proposal for you that covers the details of our meeting, together with an itemised estimate for our products and services.
If you have any questions or if you need to amend anything afterwards then do let us know and we will work with you to refine your tailor made proposal so that it’s personal to you and your wedding. From this you can then decide whether you wish to book our services. Hiring the right planner and stylist is a big commitment and we want you to be completely happy with your choice which is why we will only proceed with your booking when you are 100% happy with your styling proposal.
Step Four
BOOKING
Once we have received confirmation that you wish to proceed with your booking we will send you our booking confirmation, together with a link to our our Terms and Conditions and request a non refundable booking fee which serves as your deposit. This ensures that we will secure your wedding date and reserve the stock for your wedding as we are unable to hold any date or stock until the booking fee is received.
Once payment has been received, we will send your booking confirmation and you can then begin to relax, safe in the knowledge that you have secured our services and that your wedding venue will look absolutely amazing on your most special day.
Step Five
FINAL DETAILS APPOINTMENT
At around 6 – 8 weeks prior to your big day we will be in touch to arrange an appointment to confirm the finer details and to answer any questions which you may have. At this stage you should have received your RSVPs and had your final details appointment with your wedding co-ordinator so the appointment should be a quick and straight forward process. After the appointment we will make any amendments to your final invoice and any outstanding balance is due 4 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Step Six
ON THE DAY!
We will arrive at your wedding venue at a time agreed with your event co-ordinator and begin working our magic! Even though you may not see us on the day you can be assured that we will arrive in sufficient time to set up, long before your guests arrive. Once our work has been completed we will leave you to enjoy your beautifully styled wedding and will return the following day at a time confirmed with your venue to collect our stock.
